PROTHIOCONAZOLE 17.5% + TRIFLOXYSTROBIN 15% SC

PROTHIOCONAZOLE + TRIFLOXYSTROBIN Bottle
Triazole + Strobilurin Fungicide

PROTHIOCONAZOLE 17.5% + TRIFLOXYSTROBIN 15% SC

A premium fungicide combination merging triazole and strobilurin chemistry for superior disease control in cereals and field crops. It offers excellent systemic activity with both protective and curative properties, along with additional plant health benefits.

Target Disease
Rust, Septoria, Blotch
Mode of Action
Ergosterol + Respiration Block
Crops
Wheat, Barley, Oilseeds
Active: Prothioconazole + Trifloxystrobin Formulation: SC (Suspension Concentrate) Action: Systemic & Curative

Product Information

Mode of Action

Prothioconazole inhibits ergosterol biosynthesis by blocking the C14-demethylase enzyme, disrupting fungal cell membrane formation. [Image of ergosterol biosynthesis inhibition mechanism] Trifloxystrobin blocks mitochondrial respiration at the Qo site of Complex III, halting energy production. [Image of strobilurin fungicide mode of action] This dual mechanism ensures comprehensive disease control and extended residual activity.

Target Diseases
  • Rusts (Yellow, Brown, Leaf rust)
  • Septoria leaf blotch
  • Tan spot
  • Powdery mildew & Net blotch
  • Fusarium diseases
Key Benefits

Enhances photosynthetic efficiency and stress tolerance (greening effect), leading to better grain fill and yield.

Recommended Dosage

Crop Disease Dosage / Ha Water (L/Ha)
Wheat / Barley Rusts, Septoria, Tan Spot, Powdery Mildew, Fusarium 400 – 500 ml 400 – 500
Cereals Net Blotch, Leaf Spots 400 – 500 ml 400 – 500
Oilseeds / Pulses Leaf Spots, Rusts 400 – 500 ml 400 – 500
Dosage Note: The standard recommendation is 400-500 ml per hectare applied in 400-500 liters of water. Adjust water volume for adequate canopy coverage.

Application Instructions

1. Timing
Apply at early disease development or preventively. For cereals, the best timing is often from flag leaf emergence to early flowering (T2/T3 timing) to protect the yield-contributing leaves and ear.
2. Resistance Management
Combines Group 3 (DMI/Triazole) and Group 11 (QoI/Strobilurin). Excellent for resistance management, but do not rely exclusively on this product. Rotate with other modes of action.

Safety Precautions

Harvest Interval: Ensure adherence to local PHI regulations, typically around 30-40 days for cereals.

Handling: Wear standard protective clothing. Avoid spraying near water bodies.
